FULL DAY EXPEDITIONS: CHALLENGING YET REWARDING PADDLING EXPERIENCE Are you looking for an exhilarating paddling experience that will push your skills to the limit? Look no further than our full-day expeditions! This challenging yet rewarding activity allows you to spend up to six hours on the board while exploring the beauty of the River Kwai. PADDLING ROUTE AND REST STOPS Our one-day expedition covers around 30 km of the river. We will set off early in the morning and stop for lunch and a much-needed break during the hottest part of the day. The rest of the day will conclude with another hour of paddling, with plenty of rest stops along the way. As you take a break, you will still be carried by the river, enjoying the scenery and the sounds of nature. SKILL LEVEL REQUIRED While our full-day expeditions are a great way to challenge yourself and develop your skills, they are not suitable for complete beginners. To join the expedition, you will need to demonstrate some basic paddling skills like standing, paddling straight, turning, and paddling against the slow flow of the River Kwai. If you have not taken our beginner’s lesson, we recommend doing so before signing up for the full-day expedition. GROUP SIZE AND INSTRUCTOR We welcome groups of up to 4 people with one instructor. Our experienced instructors will guide you along the river and make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. WHAT TO BRING To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend bringing board shorts, a T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt, and a pair of shoes or flip-flops that you don’t mind getting wet. Don't forget to bring a hat, sun cream, towel, water bottle, and maybe a snack. We also recommend bringing a dry bag for your phones and wallet. If you don't have a dry bag, don't worry, we have them available for borrow at our tour office. SAFETY FIRST Your safety is our top priority. We will provide a personal flotation device and leash for safety, as well as a suitably sized board and paddle ready to go.
